PRP For Hair Restoration
What is PRP?
PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma. Platelets contain growth factors that stimulate the activity of the hair follices and promotes new hair growth.
How does the treatment work?
PRP for hair thinning is a non-surgical, in-office procedure. The treatment starts with a simple blood draw. The blood is then placed into a machine called a centrifuge. The centrifuge spins the blood separating the red blood cells from the plasma. The plasma is then injected into the scalp to promote new hair growth. We typically recommend 3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart to get the full results.
